Weekend
After sampling a bite of these wonderful bars at Costco, I had to buy it. Meet Mrs. May's Trio Bars. In one word, YUM. Almonds, pistachios, and cashews, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, raisins, dates, and either blueberry, cranberry, strawberry, or tropical fruits (pineapple, mango, papaya). Try it!
I love going to Costco, probably only because I always go to Sams since Sam's is only a few miles from here, and Costco is about 50 miles from here. But, they seem to have better stuff at Costco. And, Costco sends you coupons! I bought two big canisters of dishwashing tabs (electrasol) for $10.86 (BOGOF). And, Costco has some cool crafty stuff. I unfortunately forgot to use my Amex rebate coupon for Costco. I don't even know where I put it. Oh well.
Other stuffs...
Yay, Cora went to see Lea Salonga! I'm jealous. I just checked our local theater, and nothing there for Lea. Evita and RENT are going to be in town. Would love to see Wicked. Watched the video on Cora's page, and it reminded me of the best part of the 10th anniversary show - Castle on a Cloud. The young Cosette is singing and suddenly POP!! Someone's prop gun went off and scared the bejeezus out of the poor girl. Makes me laugh again just thinking about it. Poor kid.
Friday was full of activity for our poor house. One of the new A/C systems was installed, and that involved having the old ductwork getting ripped out and some new vents being installed in the sun room. Oi. That made a BIG BIG mess in the entire house. Fine grit made it's way onto every surface, I am not kidding you. I will be SO HAPPY once this is all over. Just about a month left to go, hopefully.
Our doors are ordered. The old exterior walls were removed so that new interior walls can be put up (stucco vs drywall). The flooring will probably go in in two weeks or so. Yay.
We moved the office (i.e. the existing living room) around after the grit settled. My desk is in it's new permanent spot, though it is only temporary. Everything has to move again when the wood floors are put in. Ugh.
Bill will have to go to Singapore again, probably end of April. Thrilled. Not.
Billy is turning out to be quite the amusing little tike. Now he takes away whatever water-delivery method I have for rinsing him in the bathtub and tries to hide it from me so I don't rinse his head. Such a silly Billy.
Daylight saving time went into effect this morning. Lost an hour.
