Rest In Peace, Milo Dido
I got an unexpected email from Andrew on Thursday night. He was the bearer of bad news that beloved Milo Dido passed away that evening.
Milo was a black and tan miniature dachshund that was acquired in Omaha when we first moved to Nebraska. I believe he was brought home on Thanksgiving day, 2005. He loved to sleep under blankets and make himself comfortable on my lap. It's a good thing he didn't really give kisses though, because he had a stinky little mouth. I haven't seen him since I left Omaha, but I know he was loved by those boys and well taken care of. I hear he even had a "big brother", a yellow lab.
Milo, you won't be forgotten, and you'll always be loved. Hope you have lots of cookies up there. Say hi to Jake and Trixie.
