Missed the whales
We took a walk up Makapuu to see if the whales were out, but they weren't. I heard that the other weekend, there were lots of whales. Today there were none to be seen. A clear view of Maui and a very cool hike were the highlights of our trip.

The past few times we've been up here the weather has been cloudy, so the pictures are a little dreary. I still love the view.
We decided to hike up to the bunkers, ususally we stop at the end of the paved road.
