White-Yellow Belt

Meet my son, the happy new graduate.

Cute, but deadly (not really)

He went from a white belt to a white-yellow belt (yes, there is a difference between a yellow belt and a white-yellow belt as in he's just a tiny squirt). Either way, he's darn proud of himself (I'm proud too)! The graduation ceremony was very cute, but hard to see him and I couldn't get any pictures because he was on the opposite end of the class from where I was sitting (no, I'm not one of those embarrassing parents who run into the middle of the field just so that I can "capture" the moment.

After the graduation test and ceremony, there was a demo by the black belts and that sucked me in. I was definitely interested in letting him continue with the classes, but as of today, he's a tiger cub and I'm $$$$ poorer.

My mood: proud mamma and not suffering from buyers remorse
