Little reasons to be thankful
Today when I checked Little One's homework, he had a turkey w/a five feathered tail. On each feather he's supposed to write what he's thankful for:
1. FAMULEY = FAMILY
2. US
3. TV
4. HOWS = HOUSE
5. MOMMY
I was pretty impressed with his spelling skills (he just turned 5). In school, they're supposed to sound out words and try to spell them first before getting the "correct" spelling. After much discussion he decided that US was the same thing as FAMULEY, so he changed US to TOS (TOYS)!
My mood: grateful for wonderful family moments like these.
