Bon dance, putting, and the force
On Wednesday, I had a change of schedule. I did an early shift at the library and after work, Trini convinced me to go to a bon dance class with her and the kids. One of her friends is offereing a free class for the community at a church. Lots of older ladies who just LOVE cute little boys trying to dance. It was hilarious, but lots of fun.
Also went to mini golf twice in the past few weeks. First we tried out the newly renovated mini golf at k-bay. It's pretty much the same course, but they redid the astroturf so it doesn't have huge holes anymore. Oh, and the bleached the heck out of the little fake stream so that the slime is sorta gone. Then we went to glow putt at the mall. They make the course hard, cause you can't see all the bumps and hills. I'd be surprised if anyone made par there. Since it was Xander's birthday, we got special treats (lots of glowing stuff). The kids LOVED it.
Tonite, I opted to stay home and felt it was time to introduce my child to the world that is Star Wars. He was instantly enthralled. Then he wanted to play Star Wars and would not calm down for the rest of the evening. There was lots of jumping and "Hya"ing and trying to climb me like a junglegym. He thought it was too scary, but managed to sit through the whole movie (which is not easy for him).
My mood: glad it's Friday!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY NATE!!!!!
