Busy November so far
Every weekend in November has been booked. It's been a busy month and time is just speeding by. I can't believe it's almost the end of the year already. On the plus side, gas prices are falling again. Great news for our plans to get away to Vegas (without the kiddies)! Maybe we can book our flight soon. Need to call Chris to find out when she's not working.
Went to Mel's wedding last nite. I must say, it was lovely and cost her a small fortune (they probably could have bought a boat for all the money that was spent on the event). I finally had a reason to wear the dress I picked up at Macy's a year ago. Yeah! I love the dress, but it's too fancy for any day wear. Needed a wonderful event and there it was. Now if I could only find a place for my fancy Nieman Marcus dress, I'd be thrilled. Anyway, I enjoyed the food and the company. The most impressive thing about the whole event were the favors. 2,500 cookies & assorted treats done by family. Wow. C-Man loved the wedding cake cookies. He devoured his last nite and then ate mine as a snack this afternoon. He did part with a small bite so that I could try it.
Looking forward to the weekend. I know, we just had a weekend, but there's always another one just around the corner. Woohoo!
Good thing is that KK & I have started going back to the gym again. We still have no Kathy class, so I've been killing time & my thighs on the treadmill. I've almost got it down to 4 miles on the treadmill in an hour. Wondering if I should do the Aloha Run next year. Well, I still have a few weeks to think about it.
My mood: tired, but happy
