Political Fright

Watched the Mayoral debate on tv tonite. Scary. Especially that engineer dude.

Even more scary (is that grammatically correct?) is that as I was watching it, I kept thinking that the Mayor of Honolulu has more "experience" than the republican candidate for vp. He is the mayor of a city with a population that FAR exceeds the population of the entire STATE that someone supposedly has "experience" running. Hmmm.

Even scarrier that that is the amount of people that are impressed and pleased with the republican ticket. I fear for my son's education, I fear for little girls around the country who will never get to choose "life" (when they grow up) because the decision will already be made for them, and I fear for polar bears. Run, polar bears, RUN!

Who could hate me???

Here's more: The former Wasilla PTA board member also courted controversy as mayor by asking the town's librarian about banning certain books. While the conversation was a non-starter with the librarian, and never got down to specifics, the revelation has nevertheless stirred concern among some education professionals. Please, even her best friends won't vote for her.

Some scary stuff could be brewing...

My mood: politically disgusted and repulsed
