Heartburn

Food choices are severely limited where I work. My previous workplace was a palace away from every ethnic food choice possible. I enjoyed lunch time there. Feel like dim sum, Russian, Greek, Mexican, sushi, etc, etc, etc, it was all minutes away. I loved it. Now my choices are: Ken's (so-so plate lunches), L&L, Jack-in-the-box, Subway, McDonald's, and 7-11 (I'm not kidding). Seriously lacking, so I rarely buy lunch and have a stash of boxed-microwave-ready food handy under my desk for those days that I just have nothing to eat. Today, I did bring lunch, but I was easily swayed to the dark side of fast food when Nina announced that she was going out for lunch and did I want to split a sandwich?

Am having digestion problems. Or there were too many jalapenos on my Subway sandwich. Nina and I have discovered that if we half a foot-long sandwich it comes out to $3.50 per person and we happen to love the same sandwich. Pastrami on garlic bread with honey mustard sauce, piled with veges (no onions). Today's sandwich was not evenly disbursed. I discovered a clump of jalapenos, followed by a clump of olives. I am now feeling pain.

My mood: ugh
