Days of sin

Monday: I was self-indulgent and gluttonously devoured a dozen or more chocolate Easter eggs.

Tuesday: I decided to delve into further sin by slothing (unfortunately not lusting) and called in to work to take a holiday (one day early). I've also decided it's not a good thing to have teachers as your friends. When they're on break, I feel deprived and envious (another sin). C-Man joined me and we spent the day in the company of friends. Trini is in full shopaholic mode, worthy of Musson "let's close down the malls and then we can go to Walmart" status. Fun. I love when she's reckless with her money. So contrasting to KK, who loves to get the best bargains. Must be why we're such great friends. We're all true believers in retail therapy and our biggest sin is greed. Mine is actually hoarding (I don't think it's compulsive, but close). I bought 2 more boxes of cereal today (even though I already have 4 unopened boxes). Yikes, I may need therapy... oh, wait, I aready have a therapist and she doesn't know about the hoarding.

Spent part of the evening watching AI. Loved David C, Michael and Brooke. Was not impressed this week with David A, but still love him. Think Chikezie is gone. Actually sat through all of Kristy's song, I think it's the first one. Am now chillin' to the Eagles. I love the Eagles. The new kid in town always reminds me of my sister. I don't know why, I think she liked that song when we were young. Hotel California always reminds me of my mom. I really don't know why that is. Must be some repressed memory (more fodder for my therapist).

Hi to Mr. Phil and family, enjoying their vacation/school previews. Thanks for the book suggestion, will include it in my memoirs. Although, I think it's a little too early to start congratulating Boston... I love your positive attitude.

Speaking of vacation, just read in Pacific Business News that Victoria's Secret is coming!!!!! Oh frabjous day! Callooh! Callay! And they might bring in products from Bath & Body Works. Hallelujah! I've been waiting decades for them to get here. Of course, that will put a damper on my excitement of going to the mainland. No more excessive buying of 20 pairs of underwear or $100 worth of hand soap (see... hoarding at it's very best).

Should probably go to sleep, but not tired just yet (although my entry is reaching babblous proportions).

Currently reading: the Reincarnationist by M. J. Rose.

My music: Very best of the Eagles

My mood: awake, happy and hoping the nite terrors stay away from my C-Man who didn't get a nap today

I LOVE New Kid In Town. Hotel California reminds me of Mom too. I think because of one of those days with the cousins. It's a song I associate with the whole dressing up as clowns bit.

I totally missed AI last night. Like, totally out of my mind. I was tired. I will have to watch it tonight before the elimination.
